We would all like to change that old medicine cabinet with a brand new one. Especially when shopping for it, analyzing all the available types, makes and so on. The tricky part is when we get it in our home and we die to see it mounted on the wall. Well, tricky not tricky it's not so hard after all. This is what this article is about, teaching you to mount that medicine cabinet on the wall the easy way.

First, ask a friend or relative to hold it on the wall exactly in the place you will need in mounted. Get something to mark the top and the bottom on the wall. This part is easy and you should not encounter any difficulties. You will then need to center the cabinet and align it's top with the top line, easy again.

Most medicine cabinets that are designed to be mounted on the wall will come with pre-drilled holes, out of all of them, make sure to mount at least one in each corner of the cabinet, this will ensure some stability to make your overall job easier.

You should be able to find one stud in the marked area, make sure to mark it from the inside of the cabinet. Also, sometimes you may notice that additional holes could be needed in the cabinet to attach it properly to the studs. One recommendation is to always use wood screws to mount the cabinet on the studs and make sure not to tighten all the way. If you don't have studs you could use toggle bolts to secure the medicine cabinet. You will have to drill the holes for toggle bolts. Placing a washer on the bold will enable you to insert through the mounting hole.

After all these things are done just tighten all the bolts, see if the medicine cabinet is at the wanted level, if yes, just tighten the bolts as much as you can and you can consider your brand new medicine cabinet secured on the wall.

If you get stuck at any of these things you could phone your cabinets store, they will more then sure be very happy to assist you over the phone or even send someone over to your place to get it done.
